Section 903:  Automatic Sprinkler Systems:

903.2   Where Required.  Approved automatic sprinkler systems shall be provided in all new buildings and structures exceeding 7,500 square feet or four or more stories in height.

Exception:  Automatic sprinkler shall not be required in R-3 occupancies.
